TRAINING SERVICES

1. Potty Training (House Training)
It all begins with consistency. This is a task where you need to be on point. Going to the bathroom outside is just another training opportunity with one MAJOR TWIST…you don’t get that many opportunities every day to get it right. This is not a “sit” where you can get lots of practice every day. (Difficulty 2) Instructions
-
2. Jumping
Two scenarios… 1) Your dog jumps on you and 2) Your dog jumps on visitors.
Your solution is different for each of these. (Difficulty 3)
-
3. Recall
Recall, in its basic form, is fairly straightforward. But some dogs know it…and still choose to ignore it. There are concepts and tools that can help. It’s one of the things that may take you a bit longer, but it is worth it. (Difficulty 6)
-
4. Loose Leash Walking
Everyone wants it. Your dog should relax when they hit the end of the leash. The basic training is straight forward, and for many dogs, a Gentle Leader can be a game changer. (Difficulty 5)
-
5. Leash Reactivity
Barking, lunging, pulling? There are many different causes. We will work through the common ones first. (Difficulty 9)
-
+1 Aggression
The hardest training challenge is dog to dog aggression (Difficulty 10). Dog to people aggression is a bit more manageable (Difficulty 8). Fear, Reactivity, Protection are all contributing factors that require different training.
